Who's seen the Back to The Future trilogy?
It's brilliant. If you haven't, you must.

I suppose I should just spit it out: Happy New Year.

I'm not particularly excited or hopefuly about anything. It's still just time: yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Let's argue about something! Which do you think is the best play Shakespeare ever wrote?

I say King Lear. I've not read all Shakey's plays, though... but currently, I say King Lear :)

For those of you that do new year's resolutions (and actually stick to them haha), add 'read or watch in theatre at least one shakespeare play'.

Are you able to change your dreams as you are dreaming them?
Having control over a dream (or nightmare, or perhaps controlling a dream to prevent it from becoming a nightmare...) seems interesting.

Yet at the same time - suppose that dream meant something; I'm not sure it if wise to tamper with the subconscience...

And sadly, I'm not talking about crazy mad in love or truly madly deeply.
I'm irritated by the fact that having free will just isn't enough for some people, so they proceed to take a stab at someone else's.

Bull crap.


People who steal art, or don't appreciate that everyone has their own way of expression, don't sit well with me, either.


I should stop with all the angry talk, but I'm interested in what gets you really angry, and more importantly, what do you do to save yourself from that anger? Often I find that when I am most fustrated, I do things that actually make the situation worse in the long run. I'm sure other people have this issue, too.


Sketchbook sharing... well, this is really a sketch in my sonnet-notebook, but I've got a picture of it and now I'm leaving it.

I'm finally getting around to submitting 'stuff'.

I think we should have a sketchbook sharing session, perhaps encouraging us to use our sketchbooks more often.

Has anyone seen the movie Atonement? I've read the book (admittedly after the movie, but it was incredible) and seen the movie... and I'm very much in love with Dario Marianelli's compositions for the movie - especially how he incorporates the typewriter's sounds into the musical score.

If you haven't read the book, I recommend it. If you haven't seen the movie, watch it - even if it's just for the music :)
